That's the issue with DSG bois. Sold my Passat for the latest Civic FE 1.5 Turbo. Yes, it's a CVT I know but with proper care it will most likely last longer than a DSG gearbox from VW.

My Mk6 GTI has another problem. When it cold starts the rpm are not stable sometimes it goes from 1100 to 1250 and so on. Could that be an injector or pvc valve problem ?

I find it interesting that this happened when your oil temps increased. One aspect of the protective mode is for this to happen when the dual clutch overheats or has excessive drag torque. I wonder if one keeps oil temps more in check if this can be prevented. In my situation I replaced the multi clutch.
